Disclaimer
Thank you for considering working with me. Please ensure you read, understand and agree to these Terms & Conditions before you enter into the agreement with me.
Support from a Holistic Sleep Coach does in no way substitute professional support from lactation consultants, medical practitioners, nutritionists, therapists or counselling. Therefore, if you have concerns over your child’s health or wellbeing, please
consult a medical professional.
I, Eliza Robert of Sleepy-Byes Holistic Sleep Coaching, agree to provide sleep coaching services, which consists of advice, support and information. I do in no way guarantee a particular outcome or result, or within a particular timeframe.
I will endeavour to provide you with evidence-based, developmentally appropriate and empathic information with an emphasis on protecting attachment, working with your parenting style and with family temperaments in mind. I will not ask you to do anything that you are uncomfortable with and will not advise you to change elements such as breastfeeding or co-sleeping, unless this is in the interests of you or your child.
I confirm that I will:
• Provide a pre-consultation sleep diary
• Undertake a sleep consultation, if applicable, of either 90mins or
60 mins via videoconferencing, as agreed on your package booked
• Provide a full, written summary and sleep plan, if applicable,
within 48 hours of the consultation
• Provide follow up in the form of email and/or telephone call, if
applicable and as agreed in your package booked
• Follow up will be provided for a period agreed in your package
booked
By entering into an agreement to consult, the client agrees to paythe specified fee, discuss any concerns with the sleep coach in thefirst instance, and make every effort to carry out the sleep planconsistently as mutually agreed at the time of consultation.
Cancellation and Refunds
Please be aware that whilst I do all I can to give support to help yoursleep situation, I do not guarantee an outcome. What I do guaranteeis my support and sharing my experience and agreed plans withyou for the duration of your agreed and booked package.
If you change your mind, you won’t hurt my feelings, but my time isvaluable as I try to help as many families as possible. With this inmind, if you cancel anytime up until 48 hours before your agreedconsultation you can receive a full refund.
PLEASE NOTE: If you cancel within 48 hours of your agreed consultation, no refund willbe given. I am unable to refund any missed appointments.
If, after reading your sleep diary, I genuinely feel that another practitioner or avenue of support is better suited to you and your circumstances, I will issue a full refund, regardless of how soon the consultation appointment is.
Rescheduling
Life with little ones is unpredictable, so if you need to reschedule our appointment, I understand. Please aim to give 24 hours noticeso that I can try to fill the slot and help as many people as possible. Appointments can only be rescheduled once without charge. If you do need to reschedule again, an admin fee of £10 will be required prior to rebooking to ensure that my time is put to the best use.
If I, Eliza, have to reschedule your appointment, I will offer an alternative appointment date/time that will be mutually agreeable.
Availability
Please note that I work internationally but reside in UK and follow GMT or British Summer Time.
I will endeavour to accommodate appointments that are at mutually convenient times for those in other countries, but apart from prior arrangement, will not generally take consultations outside of 8am-8pm UK time Monday-Friday.
Follow-Up Support
Follow up support will be in the form agreed in your package when purchased. It will either be in the form of scheduled telephone calls, at mutually agreed time, or emails. Emails can be initiated by you. I will notify you when your follow up support is coming to an end to ensure you get the most out of it and can purchase additional support if needed. If you do not answer calls or emails, or do not initiate any contact for follow up support, then it will be assumed that you no longer need or want follow up support.
Complaints or Compliments
I take great pride in helping families and work hard to make sure allmy clients are happy. If you have enjoyed working with me and/or feel your family has benefited from the support I have offered, please consider leaving a review, either by emailing me directly, or via our Facebook page or Instagram.
In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with the work I have done, under these terms and conditions, then please contact me and I will try to resolve the complaint. Should you feel that you need to, you can make a complaint to the International Association of Child Sleep Consultants (IACSC).
Data
I take your personal data and its protection very seriously. I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
In order to perform our services, we collect some data from you.
We may collect the following Data, which includes personal Data, from you:
a. name;
b. gender;
c. contact Information such as email addresses and telephone numbers;
d. demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests;
e. IP address (automatically collected);
f. web browser type and version (automatically collected);
in each case, in accordance with our privacy policy.
We collect Data in the following ways:
a. data is given to us by you ;
b. data is received from other sources; and
c. data is collected automatically.
How we use your data
We may use your data in performing our services or improvement of our services. How we use your data is further laid out in our privacy policy on our website.
Unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law, we will only hold your Data on our systems for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this privacy policy or until you request that the Data be deleted. (Please be aware that even if we delete your Data, it may persist on backup or archival media for legal, tax or regulatory purposes).
You have the right to access, correct, restrict our use of, erase, move, copy or object to our use of your data. More information is available at www.ico.org.uk
Safeguarding
Please be aware that, as a Holistic Sleep Coach, if I become concerned about the welfare or safety of your child, I have a duty to report to the relevant organisations regarding health or safeguarding in your local area. This will be done, wherever possible, with your knowledge, unless safety of your child takes priority.
